We are excited to invite you and your family to the 2nd Annual Safety Fair hosted by our Department of Family and Community Empowerment! 

Event Details: 

• Date: Saturday, November 9, 2024 

• Time: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

• Location: Administrative & Instructional Complex, 1701 Mountain Industrial Blvd, Stone Mountain, GA 30083 

This free, family-friendly event aims to empower our community with important safety knowledge while offering an array of fun and interactive activities. Here's what you can look forward to: 

• Local Fire and Police Demonstrations: Learn essential safety procedures directly from the experts. 

• Meet Theo the Safety Dog: A special appearance by DeKalb Fire Rescue's Safety Dog. 

• Live DJ: Enjoy lively music throughout the event. 

• Free Gunlocks/Safes: Available while supplies last, to promote household safety. 

• Face Painting: Fun designs for the kids! 

• Refreshments: Free popcorn and cotton candy for all attendees. 

We look forward to seeing you on November 9 as we prioritize safety while having fun and building a stronger, more engaged community.
